How Therapy Works

Session Timings

Each session is 50 minutes.

Weekly sessions will take place on the same day and time. This consistency can help, particularly in the early days of us working together.

Clients

I work with adults (over 18) and welcome clients of all identities and backgrounds. I support people who are looking to deepen their self-awareness or make meaningful changes in their lives, whatever their goal(s) for therapy may be.

Length of Therapy

I work on both a short term or longer term (open-ended) basis. I would suggest that we commit to a minimum of 6 weeks initially. I will regularly review with you how we can best work to support your needs.

Fees

Individual online therapy and walk and talk sessions are £100. In-person sessions in a therapy room start at £125.

I have a limited number of concession slots available, please ask for further details.

How We Can Work Together

I mainly work virtually, offering online sessions via Zoom.

I also have occasional in-person availability in therapy rooms near London Bridge and Buckhurst Hill.

Depending on your location and availability, I offer walk and talk sessions. Walking side by side offers the change to combine movement, fresh air, and reflection as we explore your thoughts in a different setting.

Our First Session

The quality of the relationship with your therapist is at the heart of success in therapy. For this reason it is important for you to feel completely comfortable with the therapist you select. It is not unusual to meet with a number of therapists to find the right one for you.

For this reason I offer a discounted rate of £60 for our initial session before we commit to working together.

There’s no pressure to commit during our call, in fact I’d encourage you to reflect before deciding.

Also, if I feel I’m not the right therapist to support you on your journey, I will discuss this with you and will be able to signpost you to other support.

If it feels right for both of us, we can book an initial session and take it from there.
